Special Exhibition opened in Michael Mallin's home 

On Wednesday May 4th 2016 Emmet Hall, the former home of executed Easter Rising Citizen Army leader Michael Mallin was thrown open for the launch of a special exhibition of photos, graphics and videos of the Easter Rising and the part played in it by Michael Mallin.

The exhibition was formally launched by Bryan Dobson of RTE, who praised the exhibition and the work of the Kilmainham and Inchicore Heritage Group. he pointed out the unique history of the area, which contains such notable sites as Kilmainham Gaol, Richmond Barracks, the Royal Hospital, Inchicore Railway Works ... and Michael Mallin's residence.

The exhibition is open daily from 2.00-4.00 pm Monday to Saturday, and is a rare opportunity to see inside this famous building with such a close link to the Rising and one of its leading participants.
